We are a community-rooted nonprofit transforming a historic space in Pomona, California into a vibrant hub for education, creativity, and empowerment. At the intersection of art, agriculture, technology, and local action, Semillas Community Center exists to cultivate opportunity where it’s needed most.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple but powerful: to nurture growth—of people, of ideas, of futures.
Whether through digital literacy classes, urban farming initiatives, youth internships, or micro-enterprise incubators, we believe in creating access, sparking confidence, and building systems that serve the community—not the other way around.

We're not just another nonprofit. We're neighbors, mentors, organizers, artists, and dreamers. We’re building something new, together--a space where young people thrive, families connect, and the seeds of a better future are planted every day.

Nuestra Misión

Nuestra misión es simple pero poderosa: impulsar el crecimiento de las personas, de las ideas y del futuro.
Ya sea a través de clases de alfabetización digital, iniciativas de agricultura urbana, pasantías para jóvenes o incubadoras de microempresas, creemos en crear acceso, generar confianza y construir sistemas que sirvan a la comunidad, no al revés.

No somos una organización sin fines de lucro más. Somos vecinos, mentores, organizadores, artistas y soñadores. Construimos algo nuevo, juntos: un espacio donde los jóvenes prosperan, las familias se conectan y se siembran las semillas de un futuro mejor cada día.
